Love My Neighbor, Stand Against Hate: Bystander Intervention Training & Workshop

Have you ever witnessed intolerance and harassment and wished you knew what to do? Join Asian Americans Advancing Justice-LA and The Gathering: A Space for Asian Pacific American Spirituality for this highly effective and practical training designed especially for the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles. Be empowered to take direct action to protect our communities and stand up for our siblings, especially Asian-Pacific Islander/Americans!

In the first hour, AAAJ-LA’s trainers will teach the “5 Ds” of how to intervene effectively as a bystander without compromising safety.

Immediately following a short break, we’ll use the second hour to put what we’ve just learned into action, especially as it relates to our faith communities. The Gathering team will facilitate reflective exercises and a Q+A time for us to grow together as Beloved Community.

You are welcome to register even if you can only attend the first hour.
