We carry many wounds, seen and unseen.
Scars of past losses and hurts,
released pain and held brokenness.
Bind our wounds, heal our hurts,
and soothe our pain.
You do not fish us out of our humanity
you dwell with us in love.
Help us to know that in the scars we carry,
dwells the hope of our future, knowing that in the place of the wound, the light of your love shines through. Amen.
