On Sunday, October 29, 2023 All Saints Church in Pasadena will host “NewGround: Living into a Muslim-Jewish Partnership of Love in a Time of Deep Pain and War” — a timely and transformative offering in the All Saints Forum with Aziza Hasan and Andrea Hodos in conversation with Mike Kinman.
On October 22nd The New York Times published an article entitled ‘I Love You. I Am Sorry’: One Jew, One Muslim and a Friendship Tested by War‘. It was a heartrending story about Aziza Hasan, a Muslim and long-time All Saints Church interfaith partner, and her colleague, Andrea Hodos, a Jew, who find themselves struggling with the Israel-Hamas War, a grief that is too large to hold alone.
They lead NewGround, a Muslim-Jewish Partnership for Change that empowers Jewish and Muslim Change-makers with the skills, resources, and relationships needed to improve Muslim-Jewish relations and strengthen cooperation on issues of shared concern, working with a broad political and religious spectrum of Muslims, Jews and institutions.
Don’t miss this opportunity to receive the wisdom of these two influential and inspirational women, to help us also in our struggle with this war. 9:00 a.m. in person in the Forum or online via livestream at https://allsaints-pas.org/live-stream/.
